Our First Stitches

Memphis got a little too excited today when it was time to go "bye bye" and ran to the door only to trip and hit her had on the door hinge. Mike called me in a panic, I honestly was thinking it can't be that bad. When I got home I was very wrong. The gash was HUGE. So we rushed to the insta care and got her all stitched up. She was NOT a fan... but with in a few minuets she was back to her normal self.

Oh poor Memphis, I feel bad. Now she'll have a matching scar like my dad and Eric. All I have is a Chicken pock scar on my forehead, but lots of scars everywhere else:(

That first picture breaks my heart. Atleast you got the "first" stitches out of the way! She is so adorable.

Poor baby! I actually have not had this experience yet with any of my kids(as I'm knocking on wood which is really just fiber board.) She looks cute even with a red crayola stuck to her forehead.

Now I'm thinking about how funny it is that you're remembered to take the camera with you to the ER.

Cute Memphis. I'm glad she wasn't too badly injured. She'll have a cool scar with a story now.
